OPEN ENROLLMENT: Help desk hours, plus Medical Plan Overview

for the main campus announced help desk hours for open enrollment, plus a Medical Plan Overview and a class on Health Insurance After You Retire.

Open enrollment starts at 8 a.m. Monday (Oct. 29) and runs through 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20. As in previous years, open enrollment is an .

The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ¿â Office of the President put the 2013 open enrollment booklets in the mail (to home addresses) on Oct. 19 — so yours may have already arrived or should be arriving soon (or you can read the booklets, one for employees, one for retirees, on the ).

If you have open enrollment questions, or need help with computer access, you are invited to come to the HR Administration Building (on Orchard Road, just west of La Rue Road) for help desk hours (first-come, first served):

  • Wednesday, Nov. 7 — 1:30-4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 14 — 1:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 19 — 8:30 a.m.-noon

The announced these programs:

• Medical Plan Overview — Summaries and comparisons of your medical plan options. 8-10 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 30), Ballroom B, the Activities and Recreation Center. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Help desk hours are scheduled after the program, from 10:15 a.m. to noon in Ballroom B.

• Health Insurance After You Retire — Suggested for employees who are retiring within the next year or so. Noon-1 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 30), Ballroom B, ARC.

The employee and retiree pages include comprehensive indexes, including employee and retiree links to the with which you can price and compare medical plans, and check medical plan availability by ZIP code.
