Participants are taking a close look at the development of 鈥渓anguage for content and content for language,鈥 according to the course description. The massive open online course, or MOOC, 鈥渙rganizes a massive collaboration of educators who wish to support students, particularly English language learners, in developing their abilities to use complex language.鈥
REEd is the new name of the Center for Collaborative Research and Extension Services for Schools, or CRESS, founded 25 years ago to put educational research into practice and to improve K-12 teaching and learning.
