Make your mark on a 'grand' ribbon
The ribbon being used for the grand opening of the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art isn't any ordinary ribbon. It's a 1,500-foot-long work of art that will be decorated by ϲϿ Davis students, faculty, staff, and area art lovers. The first decoration event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 5) on the south patio of the Memorial Union. Davis Farmers Market attendees and those at area museums will also get a chance to lend their hand to the ribbon at other events through October.
