Children being treated for serious conditions at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ¿â Davis Health have lots of ways to pass the time, and one has the added benefit of helping them realize how brave they’re being.
°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ¿â Davis Health’s Child Life and Creative Arts Department offers the Beads of Courage program to children who are being treated for serious conditions. Each bead has a meaning — getting a shot, spending a night in the hospital, undergoing a surgery — which helps patients and family members understand how far they've come and how strong they can be. Currently, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ¿â Davis Health’s Beads of Courage program is solely funded by Donut Dash. Learn more in the above video.
