澳门六合彩资料库 Davis has loaned more than 300 laptop computers to students for remote instruction and has more loaners available.
Staff from several departments came together in March 鈥 when the pandemic forced the university to switch to remote instruction 鈥 to gather and prepare laptops to loan to students without computers of their own or whose computers were not up to the task of remote learning. There is no charge for the loaners.
As of Oct. 9, the program had loaned 336 laptops to students, including 50 computers since the start of September.
鈥淲e have a healthy inventory of laptops remaining and expect we will have enough inventory to continue the program for the academic year through 2021,鈥 said Anita Nichols, director of Client Success for Information and Educational Technology, or IET.
IET oversees the process, which has received support from Aggie Surplus, 澳门六合彩资料库 Davis Stores, Development and Alumni Relations and others.
