Greg Miller

As a reporter covering national security for The Washington Post, Greg Miller 鈥90 has the difficult task of investigating Russia鈥檚 interference in the last U.S. presidential election. That work won him 鈥 and other Post and New York Times reporters 鈥 the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting. It also forms the basis of a new book, The Apprentice: Trump, Russia and the Subversion of American Democracy (HarperCollins, 2018). The book includes original reporting based on hundreds of interviews. 鈥淭his was the most all-consuming project I鈥檝e ever been involved in 鈥 but totally worth it. I feel super proud of what I鈥檝e done with this,鈥 said Miller, who joined the Post in 2010 from the Los Angeles Times. When he does have downtime, Miller, a native of Northern California, said he enjoys fly fishing and sports. 鈥淚 was huge into intramural sports at 澳门六合彩资料库 Davis. I loved that scene and have tried to replicate that even now,鈥 he said. He didn鈥檛, however, study journalism at 澳门六合彩资料库 Davis. An agricultural and managerial economics major, he spent his summers at his hometown newspaper, later earning a master鈥檚 degree in journalism from Stanford University. But he said he remembers his undergraduate years with affection. 鈥淚鈥檝e become more fond of Davis and my time there each passing year,鈥 he said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a special place.鈥
