Hasan Minhaj has taken his Netflix show, 鈥淧atriot Act,鈥 home during quarantine.

Hasan ... From a Distance
Hasan Minhaj 鈥07 was gearing up for another season of his hit Netflix show 鈥淧atriot Act鈥 when the stay-at-home orders came through. Production was halted and the premiere date has now been postponed.
Now Minhaj is producing 鈥淗asan 鈥 From a Distance鈥 from his home, with wife Beena Patel 鈥07, MPH 鈥08, on camera duty. The couple welcomed a son in March, and the baby, along with his 2-year-old daughter also make appearances at their home outside New York City.
Watch Minhaj show off his home office (a closet) and his sneaker collection (in the laundry room). The episodes are available every Thursday on YouTube, where 鈥淧atriot Act鈥 just reached 1 million subscribers.
Tele Town Halls
U.S. congresswoman Jackie Speier has been holding online town halls to address the federal response to COVID-19. She will hold an eighth town hall on April 29 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
Previous guests have been Stanford Medical Center鈥檚 Dr. Shashank Joshi to talk about mental health, and Julie Clowes, the district director of the Small Business Administration鈥檚 San Francisco District Office, to explain the available programs and the application process.
The town hall is done over the telephone and aired online, via Facebook.

Coffee with Cam
Singer songwriter Cam, aka Camaron Ochs 鈥06, is going live on Instagram multiple days a week, picking up with a series she鈥檚 done before, 鈥淐offee with Cam.鈥 It is live streamed at 12 p.m. Central Time.
So far she has had conversations on body positivity with trainer JoAnna Lopez, creativity with tour photographer Chelsea Kornse and others.
鈥淓very episode will be an honest convo plus a song,鈥 said Ochs, offering to take song suggestions via social media.

Amy Gutierrez 鈥95, better known as San Francisco Giants in-game reporter Amy G., is sidelined at home, but still interviewing athletes via Instagram Live at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. For a series she鈥檚 dubbed 鈥淲ine Wednesday,鈥 she pours a glass of vino and so do her guests.
She has already spoke with Giants right fielder Hunter Pence, Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski and Giants pitcher Tyler Beede. Former player Rich Aurilia has also made appearances with trivia giveaways. These videos are also available on her YouTube channel.
